Printed Newsletter Ad

The newsletter is published monthly and is mailed to all DEFFA members. Available ad sizes are full page, half page, and quarter page. Advertising may be purchased for a single month, six months, or one year period. Rates are shown below.

Printed Ad Specifications


Ad Sizes:		Full Page - 5" wide x 8" high; Half Page - 5" wide x 4" high; Quarter Page - 5" wide x 2" high.
Format:		Emailed PDF or MS Word files are the preferred format. Minimum resolution 300 dots per inch, properly sized. Camera ready prints may be mailed to the editors. Ads are printed in black & white(grayscale) only.
Deadline for submission:		Deadline is the 15th of the month prior to publication(e.g. May 15th is the deadline for the June Issue) Ads received after the deadline will be included only if space and time are available.

Web Site Ad

DEFFA is now offering web site advertisements. They appear on the right side of each web page. There are two sizes: large and small. They can be configured to be clickable to the target of your choice. Rates are still being developed.

Web Site Ad Specifications


Ad Sizes:		Web Site Ads should be image files at a resolution of 72 dots per inch. Large ads are 400 dots wide by 250 dots high. Small ads are 400 dots wide by 125 dots high. These specifications should be met exactly for best image quality.
Format:		Images files in GIF, JPG, or PNG format. Maximum size: 15 kB for large ads, 10 kB for small ads. Ads should be emailed to the editors.
Deadline for submission:		There is no deadline for ads not required to run concurrently with the newsletter. Ads will be added shortly after receipt for the time purchased. For ads that run concurrently with the newsletter, the deadline is the same as for the newsletter.
Ad creation:		Ads should be emailed ready to use. We will create ads for you at an additional charge.
